Pocket Cheff Wireless Payment   Pocket Cheff USA has recently developed a new payment module through credit cards.

How it works ?

At the end of a meal, a customer's credit or debit card can be swiped at the table, eliminating the need for cards to be taken away, therefore reducing the amount of time taken to process the sale. Information is being sent encrypted to pocket pc's via bluetooth and from there to their Payment Solution Provider through Wi-Fi, for processing and/or authorization purposes.

Once this process is completed, a belt-mounted printer gives the customer the same receipt produced by a traditional cash desk. This process last around five seconds. An added advantage for the customer is the reduction in risk of opportunistic card fraud known as skimming, which occurs when the customer's credit details are copied to another card.

With Pocket Cheff the card never leaves the customer's sight.
